The TensarPave design program enables the design engineer to rapidly produce pavement designs, making use of Tensar geogrids to stabilise the unbound layers. This maximises the cost benefits which can be attained by reducing the pavement thickness.
The TensarSoil program allows the design engineer to produce designs for reinforced soil walls and slopes.
By using these design programs offered by Tensar, the design engineer is able to save precious time by generating designs in-house. The Tensar Design and Technical Support team is available to give advice and even offer a design checking service, in order to aid the design engineer with this process.
Copies of our TensarPave and TensarSoil design programs are also available to design engineers attending one of our workshops or seminars.
Please give us a call on +44 (0) 1254 262 431 if you would like to receive a copy of this software and we can make arrangements for you. Where necessary, we can also arrange for one of our team to visit your office and provide training.
Mechanistic-empirical (M-E) Software
Tensar International’s Spectra M-E software is enabling pavement engineers to analyse the benefits of incorporating stabilisation geogrids in their designs more accurately then ever-before.
“Spectra M-E is unique because, for the first time, engineers can use an mechanistic-empirical (M-E) approach to analyse and predict the service life performance of a pavement when Tensar TriAx geogrids are incorporated in unbound granular layers,” explained Tensar Vice President Global Product Management and Technology Tim Oliver.
The software is designed for use with TriAx – other geogrids will perform differently, so analysis using TriAx-specific data would not be accurate, Oliver said – and has been validated independently by leading US pavement specialist Applied Research Associates.
Spectra M-E is used by Tensar’s design teams around the world and is also available to suitably qualified pavement engineers experienced in M-E design; a licence is required for partner users. Contact Tensar at email@example.com for further information.
